Forevershine Gifts ("we", "us") runs this website. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit or shop here and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number (if you give one), and what you bought.
  • If you create an account: your name, email address, a password (stored scrambled, never in plain text), saved addresses, and your order history.
  • When you send a message: your name, email address, and what you write to us.
  • Notes and box choices: anything you write in the note to seller, and the items and preferences you pick for a custom box.
  • Payment details: card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Your cart and sign-in: your browser stores a cart ID so your cart is still there when you come back, and, if you sign in, a login token so you stay signed in.
  • How visitors use the site: we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use the shop (which pages they visit, where they click and scroll) so we can make it better. Clarity uses cookies and records these interactions; it hides what you type into forms. Microsoft processes this data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can block these cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to shop. We don't use advertising cookies.
  • Basic technical data: like any website, our servers and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) see your IP address and browser type when you visit, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it

  • To make, ship and deliver your order, and to email you an order confirmation and shipping updates
  • To run your account, if you create one (including password reset emails)
  • To reply to your messages
  • To handle returns, refunds and problems with an order
  • To keep records we're required to keep for taxes and accounting

We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing emails unless you've asked for them.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop:

  • Payment processing: Stripe
  • Shipping: the shipping carrier receives your name and address to deliver your package
  • Email delivery: Resend sends our order, account and reply emails
  • Website hosting and security: Cloudflare
  • Site analytics: Microsoft (Clarity)
  • Etsy: we also sell on Etsy, and our stock counts are shared between the two shops (no customer details from this site are sent to Etsy)

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for taxes and accounting. Messages are kept only as long as we need them to help you. You can delete your account information at any time by asking us (see below).

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live (for example California, under the CCPA), you may have additional rights. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This shop isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
